When i was growing up chumbawamba were put somewhat on a pedestal by me, and it was sad to see them fall so far off it! While at sheffield poly i got to know them a little as they used to let us put a fundraiser table for our sab group whenever they played there. Up until the SHHHH lp that was, when we got a call saying they weren`t allowing political groups in apart from the ANL. Unknown to them we set up a table outside the gig, only for bouncers to promptly turn it over and chase us off.
Then they signed to e.m.i and the rest was history!
